Shannon Richards, FNP-BC, joined Mango Medical in October 2024. She graduated with a master’s degree in Family Nursing from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California, in 2008, and earned her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Linfield College of Nursing in 1994.

Originally from Portland, Oregon, Shannon spent eight years in Maui before joining the Big Island community. Her background includes nursing and “first assist” in the operating room. She then transitioned into full time Nurse practitioner working in family practice and urgent care. 

Shannon is dedicated to seeing patients of all ages, providing individualized approach to all patients. 

Outside of work, Shannon and her partner enjoy the beautiful golf opportunities and the amazing sunsets the island has to offer.
