Megan joined Mango Medical in 2023. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-
BC). Her focus is on providing a holistic approach to preventative medicine by working with
patients to create an individualized, culturally congruent health plan. She also has a particular
interest in women’s health as she is a published author on infant and maternal mortality.

After graduating with her Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry & pre-med from the
University of Puget Sound, Megan worked as an EMT for a rural fire department. She entered
the nursing profession after earning her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Pacific
Lutheran University in 2012. She worked as a RN in various settings including emergency room,
med/surg, and primary care coordination. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
and nurse practitioner training from University of Hawai’i at Hilo.

Megan was born and raised on the North Shore of Kaua’i. She returned to Hawai’i in 2019 after
the birth of her second child. When not working, she loves spending time with her family, going
to the beach, hiking, and caring for her small farm.
